Since the business began in 2014, Brightman Architects have started working on a number of varying commercial projects across Sheffield and Chesterfield. 

Chris Brightman founded Brightman Architects in early 2014 after working for one of Architect's Journal's top 100 Architectural practices in the UK.  Chris has a wide range of experience in working on retail, residential, student housing, commercial, industrial, leisure and mixed use projects for high profile clients across the UK. 

During this time, Chris gained some invaluable experience in working on multi-million pound schemes for clients such as Sainsbury's, Wilson Bowden, SEGRO, Unite Student Accommodation, IKEA and many more.

As the business is expanding we are receiving more and more enquiries for commercial work based on this previous experience.  Our current commercial schemes include projects such as:

• New build housing developments

• Student housing

• Masterplanning

• Commercial office conversions

• Retail unit extension and fit out

• Listed building consents

• Car park extension and renovation
